He is a US-qualified attorney with eight years of experience in elite international law firms representing Italian and U.S. issuers and financial institutions. His current practice provides legal counsel in relation to:
– Capital Markets, including equity capital markets (IPOs, rights offerings, and accelerated book builds/block trades) and debt capital markets (high yield, investment grade, USPPs, GMTN programs) through private placements under Rule 144A and Regulation S and registered offerings.
– Mergers & Acquisitions, including cross-border asset and share purchases for operating companies and financial institutions.
– Investment Management, including the organization and governance of private investment funds in compliance with U.S. law and advising institutional investors with respect to investments in such funds.
While he is principally based in the Charlotte, North Carolina offices of Moore & Van Allen PPLC, he regularly works from the ELN offices in Milan to maintain a strong connection with the Italian market.
He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in History and Economics (B.A.) from Wake Forest University in 2007. In 2005, he simultaneously studied History with Syracuse University and studied Painting with Sig. Gianni Silverstri in Florence, Italy. In 2012, he earned a graduate degree in Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Liberty University. In 2016, he earned a juris doctor (J.D.) from Wake Forest University School of Law. Honors conferred upon earning his J.D. included cum laude and Order of the Coif designations and receipt of the E. McGruder Faris Award for character, leadership, and scholarship.
